Mts BPW Meeting

Minutes of the special meeting of the Board of Public Works, Wednesday March 31, 2010.

Meeting called to order by Chairman Hayes at 6:00 p.m.

Roll Call: Present Hayes, Exferd, Wittkopf, Destache. Excused Stewart
Also present: Mayor Nerenhausen, Superintendent of Public Works Jeremy Wusterbarth and Director of Public Services Robert Mommaerts.

Moved by Exferd, second by Destache to approve agenda

Moved by Wittkopf, second by Exferd at approximately 6:00 p.m. to convene into closed session for the purpose of interviewing candidates for the position of Laborer in the Public Works Department. Roll call vote: Ayes: Hayes, Exferd Wittkopf, And Destache.

Moved by Exferd, second by Wittkopf to reconvene into open session at approximately 8:00 p.m.

On a call from Chairman Hayes for a motion to hire one of the candidates moved by Wittkopf, second by Destache to recommend to the Wage and Personnel Committee to hire Larry Behnke, Jr. for the position of Laborer.

Without further discussion.
Roll call vote: Ayes: Wittkopf, Exferd, Destache. Nays: Hayes

The other three members of the interview committee did not have an opportunity to vote.

Moved by Wittkopf, second by Exferd to adjourn. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
