Notice of Meetings for

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

City Hall - 1210 Main Street – Oconto, WI 54153
AGENDA

These will be open meetings and notice has been given to the public at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the meeting by forwarding the complete agenda to the Oconto County Reporter. Copies of the agenda were available for inspection at the office of Administrator and on the City’s website calendar: www.cityofoconto.com


5:15 p.m. Finance Committee (Jack Maas, Dick Doeren, Ed Young, Roger Reed and Pete Nelson) will meet in the Conference Room for the following agenda:

1. Meeting called to order by Chairperson Maas.
2. Roll Call
3. Approval of agenda as presented.
4. Correspondence/Public Appearances
5. Discussion/recommendation on:

a. Kiwanis Lease.

b. Recommendation from Harbor Commission from
6/17/2010 meeting for approval of establishing a $175
fishing tournament fee

c. Recommendation from BPW & OUC to accept low bid from DeGroot, Inc, Green Bay, WI for Contract OC-10-A for $1,084,962.24. Work to include Broadway, Huron, Superior, Copper Culture and Cook Avenue.

d. Recommendation from BPW to on 2010 Sidewalk
Contract low bid from United Construction for $16,885.50
which includes resealing the colored concrete on Main
Street.

e. Proposals for repair of the 5,000 s.f. of roof area over the
Police Dept.

f. Listing of accounts payables for $377,637.51; payroll for
$110,308.22; and financial reports.

6. Adjourn.

Recommendations from Board of Public Works

g. Paving of McDonald St., from Robin Lane to Hwy overpass at a cost of $2,067.25, of which city share will be $1,000.

h. Submitting an application for a HSIP grant for the Main Street/Superior Avenue Intersection estimated to be $20,200 with city share if awarded the grant at 10%.


i. Copy of recorded Deed from DOT regarding 20.31 acres.


j. Rustic Road Resolution for .25 miles (Park Avenue CTH S to Town line.)

k. Draft Charter Ordinance Appointing the City Atty position.

l. Recommendation from Mayor on appointments and re-
appointments.

m. Listing of applications for an operator’s license and
Temporary Class B licenses.

n. Preliminary Resolution for levying of specials
assessments for OC-10-A.

o. Response from engineering firms regarding development of Brazeau Avenue/Business 41.

6. Regular Council Meeting, Tuesday, July 13th, 2010 at 6 p.m.

7. Adjourn.


SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

1. Meeting called to order by Mayor Fulton.

2. Roll Call

3. Approval of agenda

4. Invocation and pledge of allegiance by Alderperson Wittkopf.

5. Action on recommendation from Com of the Whole for adoption of the Preliminary Resolution for OC-10-A.

6. Next meeting: Special Council meeting, Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 for the public hearing on the special assessments for OC-10-A and presentation by interested engineering firms on Brazeau Avenue/Business 41.
