IDC Minutes 8/31/2011

Minutes of the Industrial Development meeting held on Wednesday, August 31st, 2011.

Mayor welcomed the IDC members.

1. Moved by Maas seconded by Reed to elect Doeren as chairpersons.
Moved by Maas seconded by Wittkopf to close the nominations.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes

2. Roll call: Jack Maas, Dick Doeren, Roger Reed, Terri Berth, Cathy Faith and John Matravers.
Absent: Beth Larson.

3. Moved by Maas seconded Matravers to accept agenda as presented.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes

4. Moved by Maas seconded by Matravers to approve of 2/3/2011 IDC meeting minutes
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes

5. Correspondence/public input; Copy of ordinance Sec 2-4-6;

6. Doeren stated commission may vote notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85 [1][f] for the following;

Closed Session

7. Moved by Maas seconded by Matravers to reconvene into open session and grant Carl and Angela Liegeois open session.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes
Doeren stated we should concentrate on our local businesses; Doeren stated the FLW 282 = 1492 nights; Berth stated the City of Oconto received good exposure from FLW show on Sunday;

Mayor stated next meeting have on agenda a listing of our local businesses;

8. Next meeting Thurs 9/22/2011 at 8:00 a.m.

9. Moved by Berth seconded by Maas to adjourn.
