This is an open meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Oconto. Notice of this meeting was given to the public at least twenty-four hours prior to the meeting by forwarding the complete agenda to the newspapers, and to all new media who have requested the same as well as by posting. Copies of the complete agenda were available for inspection at the office of the City Clerk and on the city website:

4.) Approval of minutes as typed from the 7/6/09 and 7/13/09 meetings.
5.) Public Input/Correspondence
6.) Commission may vote to convene into Closed Session at approximately 3:30 p.m. pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)
(c), (e) and (g) for discussion with legal counsel for the following:
a. Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance
evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body
has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.
b. Competitive bargaining reasons to review and evaluate bids received on
an audit of the Police and Fire departments.
c. Collective bargaining issues regarding upcoming contract negotiations.
7.) Commission may vote to reconvene into Open Session at approximately 4:30 p.m. pursuant to notice given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85(2).
8.) Discussion/action on award of contract for fire and police audit.

c. MOU from Oconto county/Spillman Software agreement
d. National Night Out Recap
e. State-wide radio interoperability – possible future budget issues
f. Municipal court addressing fines due to impact of provisions of State’s
budget bill.
g. Request from firefighters on training opportunities.
10.) Review/recommendation on Police, Fire and Ambulance dept reports.
11.) Review/approval on listing of accounts payables for police, fire and
ambulance for a total of $6,440.84 and financial reports.
12.) Report on meetings/conferences/seminars attended.
13.) Adjournment
