Minutes Wage & Personnel Meeting

Minutes of the Wage & Personnel meeting held on Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 at city hall pursuant to notice duly given.


1. Meeting called to order at 4:30 p.m. by Chairperson Schreiber.
2. Roll call: Al Schreiber, Jack Maas, Marlene Zahn, John Wittkopf and Jim Stiloski. Also present: Mayor Nerenhausen, Atty. Jim Kalny, Bob Mommaerts and Linda Belongia Administrator and as recording secretary.
3. Moved by Zahn seconded by Stiloski to approve of the agenda as presented.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes
4. No correspondence or public input.
5. Chairperson Schreiber stated the committee may vote to convene into Closed Session pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85(1) (e) & (g) for discussion on public employees that the governing body has jurisdiction over.
Moved by Wittkopf seconded by Stiloski to convene into Closed Session at 4:31 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal roll call vote. 5 ayes

Also included in the Closed Session: Mayor Nerenhausen, Atty. Kalny and Bob Mommaerts.

Closed Session

Moved by Maas seconded by Schreiber to table to the 12/21/09 meeting
Discussion/action on recommendation from BPW to advertise for laborer position
for the Public Works Department.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes

Mommaerts left the closed session at 4:42 p.m.

6. 5:12 p.m. Ed VanderBloomen, Jeff Ruechel and Randy Van Hulle entered the
closed session representing the Professional Police Association;

7. Moved by Stiloski seconded by Wittkopf to reconvene into Open Session at 6:45 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes

8. Moved by Maas seconded by Zahn to adjourn. M/C
