This is an open meeting of the Board of Public Works Committee of the City of Oconto.
Notice of this Meeting was given to the public at least twenty-four hours prior to the meeting by forwarding the complete agenda to the newspapers, and to all news media who have requested the same as well as by posting. Copies of the complete agenda were available for inspection at the office of the City Clerk.

a) League of Wisconsin Municipalities
7. DISCUSSION/RECOMMENDATION ON THE FOLLOWING:
a) Scheduled construction of S.T.H. 22 from end of State Project to Brazeau Avenue
in 2009
b) Request from Randy Lemke to use Brewery Pit for ATV Safety training on
April 18th, 2009
c) Request from Copperfest Committee to close the following streets for Copperfest:
1. Monroe Street from Arbutus to Park on the 12th, 13th and 14th of June, 2009
2. Arbutus Avenue from Madison to Quincy on the 12th, 13th and 14th
3. Madison Street from Park to Arbutus on the 12th, 13th, and 14th
4. North side of Pecor from Ontario to Farnsworth, Farnsworth Avenue from
Pecor to Chicago, Main from Chicago to Park and Park from Main to Madison
on June 13th for the parade
d) Permission to only receive bids on Public Works Projects from Wisconsin based
Corporations in keeping with the State Legislature’s proposed local purchasing bill
and the City of Oconto’s shop locally policy. See proposed wording on bid
advertisement

10. Report/approval of attendance of seminars/meetings/conferences
