W&P Minutes

Minutes of the Wage & Personnel meeting held on Thursday, May 13th, 2010 pursuant to notice duly given.

1. Meeting called to order at 4:05 p.m. by Al Schreiber.
2. Moved by Zahn seconded by Wittkopf to nominate Al Schreiber as chairperson.
Moved by Wittkopf seconded by Zahn to close nominations and cast a unanimous ballot for Al Schreiber as chairperson.
3. Roll call: Al Schreiber, John Wittkopf and Marlene Zahn. Excused/Absent: Jim Stiloski and Jack Maas. Also present: Atty. Jim
Kalny and Linda Belongia Administrator and as recording secretary.
4. Moved by Wittkopf seconded by Zahn to approve of the agenda as presented.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 3 ayes
5. No correspondence or public input.
6. Chairperson Schreiber stated the committee may vote to convene into Closed Session pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis.
Stats. 19.85(1) (c), (e) & (g) to meet with legal counsel regarding
negotiation strategy and the Oconto Firefighter’s Local 2739.

Moved by Zahn seconded by Wittkopf to convene into Closed Session at 4:08 p.m.

Jack Maas arrived.
Motion carried upon verbal roll call vote. 4 ayes

Closed Session

7. Moved by Wittkopf seconded by Zahn to reconvene into Open Session at 5:50 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 4 ayes

8. W&P will meet 5/18 with Police and 5/20 with DPW.

9. Moved by Wittkopf seconded by Zahn to adjourn. M/C
