Special Council Minutes 5/5/2009

Minutes of the Special Council meeting held on Tuesday May 5th, 2009 at city hall pursuant to notice duly given.


1. Meeting called to order by Mayor Nerenhausen at 6:30 p.m.

2. Roll call: Mayor Nerenhausen, Ed Young, Lloyd Heier, John Wittkopf, Al Schreiber, Joe Stiloski, Dick Doeren, Tom Fulton, Jack Maas and Atty.
Mraz. Excused: Marlene Zahn and Jim Stiloski. Linda Belongia, Administrator and as recording secretary also present.

3. Invocation and pledge of allegiance by Alderperson Stiloski.

4. Moved by Wittkopf seconded by Heier to accept recommendation from the Board of Public Works to approve of the Street Closure Permit for part of
Huron Avenue for a fund raiser for the Oconto Youth Football program.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 8 ayes

5. Moved by Heier seconded by Maas to accept recommendation from Com of the Whole on request from Newcap to submit a pre-application for
CDBG small cities facilities funding to assist city residents.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 8 ayes

6. Moved by Wittkopf seconded by Schreiber to adjourn. M/C
