Plan Commission Minutes

Minutes of the Plan Commission meeting held on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 pursuant to notice duly given.

1. Meeting called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Mayor Nerenhausen.
2. Roll call: Mayor Nerenhausen, Bob Mommaerts, Mike Werner, Bob Bake, Tom Fulton and John Matravers. Kale Proksch excused. Also present Linda Belongia Administrator and as recording secretary.
3. Moved by Matravers seconded by Bake to approve of the agenda as presented.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 6 ayes
4. No correspondence or public input.
5. Moved by Fulton seconded by Bake to approve of the minutes as typed and place on file from the 1/5/2010 meeting.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 6 ayes
6. Discussion/recommendation on:
a. Review of Mayor’s draft of sign ordinance; Mayor stated he took our current ordinance and what the City of DePere has and created the draft that is before us; commission went over draft; discussed and modified;

Moved by Werner seconded by Bake to authorize Mayor to make the changes that have been discussed and bring back an amended draft at the next meeting.

b. Discussion on creating an ordinance to establish fines for violating the use of snowmobiles and ATV’s on areas outside the allowed designated trail route.
Belongia had copies of the Village of Howard and City of Sheboygan ordinances; Belongia to create a draft for the commission and bring back for next meeting.

7. Next meeting, 2/23/2010 at 4 p.m.
8. Belongia stated two CSM’S have been submitted and are being reviewed by the county; if ready will put on next agenda as well as draft’s of the sign ordinance and ordinance establishing fines for violating the use of snowmobiles and ATV’s on areas outside designated trail route.
9. Moved by Fulton seconded by Mommaerts to adjourn. M/C
