Farnsworth Public Library
Board of Trustees Meeting July 27, 2010

The meeting was called to order by President Lacourciere at 7:00 P.M.

1. Roll Call: Present: Bucheger, Gering, Guse, Gilbert, Lacourciere, Maas, Peterson, Schroeder and Director Murphy
Absent: Loberger

2. Minutes of June 22, 2010 minutes were approved as printed M/S/C Gering, Bucheger

3. Director’s Report
a. Bills dated 6/22/2010 in the amount of $4,302.12, bills dated 7/6/2010 in the amount of $365.34 and bills dated 7/20/2010 in the amount of $2,407.46 were approved Gering, Guse
b. YTD Income Expenditure Guideline was reviewed
c. Director Murphy introduced Debi Schroeder to the Board as the new city appointee.

4. Committee Reports
a. Administrative/Personnel – no questions were brought up regarding Director Murphy’s recent evaluation. Murphy will be evaluating all staff in the near future
b. Building and Grounds – no report
c. Finance – no report
d. Pres Lacourciere appointed Schroeder to the Building and Grounds committee

5. Correspondence

6. Old Business
a. Discussion of change from Municipal to Joint Library status – Ordinance no. 261
was reviewed. It will be sent to the city attorney for review

7. New Business
a. Pres. Lacourciere asked if anyone had events to be listed in the Chamber of
Commerce guide for 2011 that they get the information to him
