Minutes of the Wage & Personnel meeting held on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010 pursuant to notice duly given.

1. Meeting called to order at 4 p.m. by Chairperson Schreiber.
2. Roll call: Wage & Personnel members: Al Schreiber, Jim Stiloski, Marlene Zahn, John Wittkopf and Jack Maas. Police & Fire Commission: Dick Olson, Ron Hayes, Tim Longsine, Steve Gering and Gene Berth. Also present: Mayor Nerenhausen, Atty. Kalny, Don Phillips, Fire Chief and Linda Belongia Administrator and as recording secretary.
3. Moved by Maas seconded by Wittkopf to approve of the agenda as presented.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes
4. No correspondence or public input.
5. Moved by Stiloski seconded by Zahn to convene into Closed Session at 4:01 p.m. pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85 (c), (e) & (g) for
confirmation with legal counsel and for negotiation strategy with the Police &
Fire Commission.
Motion carried upon verbal roll call vote. 5 ayes

Also included in the Closed Session was the Police & Fire Commission members and Chief Phillips.

Closed Session

6. Moved by Zahn seconded by Stiloski to reconvene into Open Session at 6:25 p.m. pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85(2).
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes

7. Belongia advised to hold off on issue of city attorney until after the 4/6/2010
election.

Also table residency issue for seasonal employees till later in the year; employees have already been hired for the 2010 season.

8. Moved by Stiloski seconded by Wittkopf to adjourn. M/C
