This is an open meeting of the Police & Fire Commission of the City of Oconto. Notice of this meeting was given to the public at least twenty-four hours prior to the meeting by forwarding the complete agenda to the newspapers, and to all new media who have requested the same as well as by posting. Copies of the complete agenda were available for inspection at the office of the City Clerk.

6. Commission may vote at approximately 6:10 p.m. to convene into Closed Session pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85(1) (c) (f) (g) for discussion on:
a. Confer with legal counsel for collective bargaining purposes.
b. Policy and Procedures – Emergency Scenes
c. Salary for Fire Chief Position
d. Consulting fee Don Phillips
7. Commission may vote at approximately 7:00 p.m. to reconvene into Open
Session pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stat. 19.85(2) for the remainder of the agenda.
8. Discussion/action/updates on the following:
a. Promotion Procedure for Lieutenants for the Fire Dept.
b. Policy regarding enforcement actions for interference @ emergency scenes
c. Salary for Fire Chief position
d. Consulting fee for Don Phillips
e. Second round of interviews for P/T Police Officers
f. Hiring of F/T and POC Fire Fighters
g. Liability Release – Car Lockouts
h. Auction Items
i. Annual testing of fire alarm systems
j. Recommended amended sections of policy per Chief Carper regarding probationary period for part-time officers, disciplinary actions and hiring procedures
10. Review/recommendation of Police, Fire and Ambulance dept. reports
11. Review/approval on listing of accounts payables for Police, Fire and
Ambulance in the amount of $109,897.58.
12. Review expense and revenue dept. reports
13. Report on meetings/conference, seminars attended
