1.) Meeting called to order by Rice @ 9:12 a.m.
2.) Roll Call- Members Present: Terry Bendt, Brian Rice & Don Denor. Members absent: Jim Hornblad. Others Present: Kale Proksch.
3.) Approval of Agenda as presented: Motion by Denor second by Bendt to approve of agenda as presented. 3 ayes. M/C.
4.) Approval of meeting minutes from 5/19/2010: Motion by Denor second by Bendt to approve of meeting minutes from 5/19/2010 as presented. 3 ayes. M/C.
5.) Public Input: None.
6.) Correspondence: None.
7.) Discussion/possible recommendation/update on the following:
a.) Streets want to plant in fall: Use tree planting inventory…streets Chicago, McDonald, Scherer, & Park.
b.) Tree by Breakwater Showers: Motion by Denor second by Bendt to remove tree from shower area. 3 ayes. M/C.
c.) Gypsy Moth: Problem. Apply for spraying in 2011.
d.) Ideas for 2011 Grant: Planting trees, tree maintenance, Arbor Day, equipment, education, tree id’s, letters to homeowners, homeowners buy trees through us.
e.) Special Projects: Same as Ideas for 2011 Grant.
a.) Tree id in parks: Discussed in item 7d..
b.) Flyers for homeowners after tree is planted. Discussed in item 7d.
c.) Progress from homeowners to buy trees: Discussed in item 7d.
8.) Next meeting date/time/agenda items: July 14th, 2010 @ 9 a.m.; Gypsy moth.
