Forestry Committee meeting minutes from 9/15/2010

1.) Meeting called to order at 9:15 a.m. by Brian Rice.
2.) Roll Call: Members present: Terry Bendt, Brian Rice, Don Denor, Jim Hornblad. Others Present: Kale Proksch & Kelly Tuttle.
3.) Approval of Agenda as presented: Motion by Denor second by Hornblad to approve of agenda as presented. 4 ayes. M/C.
4.) Approval of meeting minutes from 8/11/2010: Motion by Denor second by Hornblad to approve of meeting minutes from 8/11/2010. 4 ayes. M/C.
5.) Public Input: None.
6.) Correspondence: None.
7.) Discussion/possible recommendation/update on the following:
a.) Tree Inventory: Presentation from Kelly Tuttle regarding ash trees & trees for removal due to age, condition, etc.
b.) Sharp Park Trail – Tree ID: Talk to Boy Scouts.
c.) Tree Door Hanger: Review for next meeting.
d.) Tree Sale – Arbor Day: Tree sale info in paper.
e.) DNR Class: September 27th 8 people going.
f.) Budget: Motion by Hornblad second by Bendt recommend to Council to approve the budget as presented. 4 ayes. M/C.
g.) Gypsy Moth Class: Kale will attend.
8.) Next meeting date/time/agenda items: October 13th @ 9:00 a.m.
9.) Adjournment: Motion by Denor second by Bendt to adjourn at 10:35 a.m.
