NOTICE OF MEETING FOR BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
Monday, August 30, 2010
at 6:00 p.m.
City Hall Conference Room
1210 Main Street
Oconto, WI 54153

This is an open meeting of the Board of Public Works Committee of the City of Oconto.
Notice of this Meeting was given to the public at least twenty-four hours prior to the meeting by forwarding the complete agenda to the Oconto County Reporter. Copies of the complete agenda were available for inspection at the office of the City Clerk.

1. Call meeting to order by Chairperson
2. Roll Call
3. Approval of agenda
4. Approval of the July 26, 2010 meeting minutes
5. Public Input/Correspondence
6. DISCUSSION/RECOMMENDATION ON THE FOLLOWING:
a) Meeting with Town of Little River to discuss road maintenance.
b) Request for mountable curb along the property at 235 Pecor Street. Tabled from 7/26/10
meeting.
c) Establish no parking zones along both sides of Broadway Avenue from Bridge Street to
Frank Street west side of tracks and from Bridge Street to132’ south of Frank Street on
east side of tracks.
d) Request by Jon Sylvester for second driveway opening at 328 Cook Avenue.
e) Request by Barb Moeller for street light in mid block on Bitters Avenue.
f) Request to have streetlight removed from mid block on Fabry Street and have one installed
on Voy Avenue and Fabry Street and one at Hansen Avenue and Fabry Street where there
aren’t any now.
g) Request by Ron Hayes to close Pecor Street from Superior Avenue to Water Street on
September 25, 2010 for Harvest Festival.
h) Review proposed sidewalk program for southeast side to be completed in 2010.
i) Review 2011 Department of Public Works budget.
7. Review accounts payable report in the amount of $80,532.56.
8. Review revenue/expense guidelines
9. Report/approval of attendance of seminars/meetings/conferences
10. Next meeting date and time
11. Adjournment
