Tourism Commission Minutes
July 15. 2009

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Doeren at 5:02P.M.
Roll call as follows: Mayor Nerenhausen, Doeren, Christopherson and Zahn.

Agenda was approved on motion by Zahn, second by Christopherson

Bike Wisconsin expenses last year were $458.20 with 46 cases of water used. It was brought up that County Y is being detoured due to bypass construction. Doeren is going to e-mail the group of that recent change. The group is staying at Menominee High School on Sat. night. Doeren will contact Sarah Croney on using large water bottles. Porta potties will be needed and City Clerk will get those ordered. Some picnic tables will be needed and Kale will get them brought over. On Sunday August 6, 6 volunteers will be needed from 10:30 -1:30 at City Hall.

Oconto Paddles were ordered June 5. Postcards have not been ordered due to budget constraints. We are considering ¼ page ad for $373.00 in the Towns magazine.

Dick reported talking to Ev Crozier on about holding kayak races.

Next meeting scheduled for Aug 12, 2009.
