Minutes of the Wage & Personnel meeting held on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 pursuant to notice duly given.

1. Meeting called to order at 5:31 p.m. by Chairperson Schreiber
2. Roll call: Al Schreiber, Jack Maas, Marlene Zahn, Jim Stiloski and John Wittkopf. Also present: Mayor Nerenhausen, Dave Rosenfeldt representing the Oconto Utility Commission and Linda Belongia Administrator and as recording secretary. Ron Hayes, Chairperson of the Board of Public Works was excused.
3. Moved by Maas seconded by Stiloski to approve of the agenda as presented.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes
4. No correspondence or public input
5. Discussion/recommendation/action on scheduling interviews for the
Director of Public Service position;
Moved by Wittkopf seconded by Zahn to authorize Belongia to schedule the interviews for either Monday, February 22nd, or Tuesday, February 23rd
beginning at 5 p.m.

Belongia will have Atty. Kalny review listing of questions that will be asked;
Allow for 30 minutes for the interview and 15 minutes between the two;
Listing of city benefits will be available;

Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes

6. Chairperson Schreiber stated the committee may vote to convene into Closed Session pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis.
Stats. 19.85 [1] [e] & [g] for discussion on public employees that the
governing body has jurisdiction over regarding negotiations for the
Teamster Contracts.
Motion by Zahn seconded by Wittkopf to convene into Closed Session at
5:50 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal roll call vote. 5 ayes

Also included in the closed session: Mayor Nerenhausen and Atty. Kalny.

7. Moved by Maas seconded by Stiloski to reconvene into Open Session at
8:05 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes

8. Moved by Stiloski seconded by Zahn to adjourn. M/C
