Minutes of the Police & Fire Commission meeting held on Monday, February 15th, 2010 pursuant to notice duly given.
1. Meeting called to order at 4:10 p.m. by Chair Dick Olson.
2. Roll call: Dick Olson, Ron Hayes, Tim Longsine, Gene Berth and Steve Gering. Also present: Mayor Nerenhausen, Chief Phillips, Atty. Kalny and Linda Belongia Administrator and as the recording secretary. Excused: Chief Carper.
3. Moved by Gering seconded by Berth to approve of the agenda as presented.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes
4. No correspondence or public input.
5. Chairperson Olson state the commission may vote to convene into Closed Session pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85[c], [e] & [g] to confer with legal counsel regarding possible litigation, to discuss matters related to negotiation strategy and the Interim Fire Chief position.
Moved by Hayes seconded by Longsine to convene into Closed Session at 4:10 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal roll call vote. 5 ayes
Included in the closed session Mayor Nerenhausen, Atty. Kalny and Chief Phillips.
Closed Session
6. Moved by Longsine seconded by Hayes to reconvene into Open Session at 6:40 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes
7. Moved by Hayes seconded by Longsine to adjourn. M/C
