PFC Minutes

Minutes of the Police and Fire Commission meeting held on Thursday, June 3rd, 2010 pursuant to notice duly given.


1. Meeting called to order at 5:01 p.m. by President Hayes.
2. Roll call: Ron Hayes, Tim Longsine, Steve Gering, Gene Berth and Jim Lacourciere. Also present: Mayor Fulton, Fire Chief Don Phillips and Linda Belongia Administrator and as recording secretary.
3. Moved by Lacourciere seconded by Gering to approve of the agenda as presented.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes
4. No public input or correspondence.
5. President Hayes stated the PFC may vote to convene into Closed Session pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)(c) for
review of applications received for the position of Fire Chief.
Moved by Berth seconded by Longsine to convene into Closed Session at 5:02 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal roll call vote. 5 ayes

Also included in the Closed Session Mayor Fulton and Fire Chief Don Phillips.

Closed Session

6. Moved by Lacourciere seconded by Berth to reconvene into Open Session
at 6:10 p.m. pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats.
19.85(2).
Motion carried upon verbal voice. 5 ayes

7. Moved by Longsine seconded by Berth to authorize that a meeting be set
up for the week of June 7th, 2010 to interview Scott Schabacker and Jack
Mlnarik for the position of Fire Chief with whatever compensation for lodging as set by the Mayor and Administrator for the out of town
candidate.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes

8. Moved by Gering seconded by Longsine to adjourn. M/C
