Wage & Personnel Mts 12/21/09

Minutes of the Wage & Personnel meeting held on Monday, December 21st, 2009 at city hall pursuant to notice duly given.

1. Mayor Nerenhausen asked John Wittkopf to act as chairperson for the meeting.
Meeting called to order at 4:30 p.m. by Acting Chairperson Wittkopf.
2. Roll call: Jack Maas, Marlene Zahn, Jim Stiloski and John Wittkopf. Excused: Al Schreiber. Also present: Mayor Nerenhausen, Atty. Kalny, Bob Mommaerts, Jeremy Wusterbarth and Linda Belongia, Administrator and as recording secretary.
3. Moved by Zahn seconded by Stiloski to approve of the agenda as presented.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 5 ayes
4. No correspondence or public input.
5. Wittkopf stated the committee may vote to convene into Closed Session pursuant to notice duly given and as allowed by Wis. Stats. 19.85(1) (e) & (g) for discussion on public employees that the governing body has jurisdiction over.
Moved by Stiloski seconded by Zahn to convene into Closed Session at 4:30 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal roll call vote. 5 ayes

Closed Session

Included in the closed session were Bob Mommaerts and Jeremy Wusterbarth.

Next meeting with Teamsters 1/13/2010; W&P will begin at 4:30 with Atty. Kalny and the Teamsters at 5 p.m.;

Initial exchange with Fire union will be 1/7/2010 committee will meet with Atty. Kalny at 5 p.m. and union at 5:30 p.m.;

6. Moved by Maas seconded by Zahn to reconvene into Open Session at 6:50 p.m.
Motion carried upon verbal voice vote. 4 ayes

7. Moved by Zahn seconded by Maas to adjourn. M/C
