Meeting minutes for the Harbor Commission held on May 4, 2010

1.) Meeting called to order by Chairperson Hayes @ 4:00 p.m.
2.) Roll Call: Members Present: Ken Hayes, William Pries, Ellis Mercier, Dick Doeren, John Mick. Others Present: Mayor Fulton, Kale Proksch, Cletus Beaudin, Roger Reed, Lee Rockwell.
3.) Approval of agenda: Motion by Doeren second by Pries to approve of agenda as presented. 5 ayes. M/C.
4.) Approval of 4/20/2010 meeting minutes: Motion by Mercier second by Mick to approve of the 4/20/2010 meeting minutes as presented. 5 ayes. M/C.
5.) Public Input: None.
6.) Correspondence: None.
7.) Election of Chairperson: Pries nominated Ken Hayes. All agreed.
8.) Discussion/possible recommendation/updates on the following:
a.) Proposal/change order from McMullen & Pitz Construction in the amount of $3,445.00: Kale gave a review of the expenses. Motion by Doeren second by Pries to recommend to Council to approve of the Proposal/change order from McMullen & Pitz Construction in the amount of $3,445.00. 5 ayes. M/C.
b.) Recommendation to Committee of the Whole to waive fees for the May 23, 2010 fishing tourney: Motion by Mick second by Mercier to recommend to Committee of the Whole to waive launch fees for day of tournament, waive Park Building for the day of the tournament for the May 23, 2010 fishing tourney. 5 ayes. M/C.
c.) Roof Quotes: (See Kale for details). Kale provided quote from Stellmacher/Stock, Steffens, United Construction. Motion by Doeren second by Pries to accept the quote from United Construction in the amount of $2,665.00. 5 ayes. M/C.
9.) Approval of accounts payable for April 2010 in the amount of $15,025.02: Motion by Doeren second by Pries to approve of accounts payable for April 2010 for $15,025.02. 5 ayes. M/C.
10.) Review Revenue & Expenditure Guidelines for April 2010: Committee members reviewed.
11.) Next meeting date, time, & agenda items: Tuesday, May 26, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the Breakwater Park.
12.) Adjournment: Motion by Mercier second by Mick to adjourn at 4:50 p.m. 5 ayes. M/C.
