Meeting minutes of the Forestry Meeting held on May 16, 2011

1.) Meeting called to order by Kale at 10:09 a.m.
2.) Roll Call: Members Present: Terry Bendt, Don Denor, Jim Hornblad. Members absent: Brian Rice. Others Present: Kale Proksch.
3.) Approval of Agenda as presented: Motion by Denor second by Bendt to approve of agenda as presented. 3 ayes. M/C.
4.) Approval of meeting minutes from 4/27/2011: Motion by Denor second by Hornblad to approve of meeting minutes from 4/24/2011. 3 ayes. M/C.
5.) Public Input: None.
6.) Correspondence: None.
7.) Discussion/possible recommendation/update on the following:
a.) Arbor Day recap: Board thought it went very well since the kids were standing around like past years.
b.) Sharp Park Trail: AP biology class is looking to go out there and identify trees for the trail.
c.) Landscape Campground sign @ Holtwood: Board ill measure it and look to spruce it up ourselves before Copper Fest.
8.) Next meeting date/time/agenda items: June 8th @ 9 a.m. @ Holtwood Park; Bird houses, Campground trees, Work on sign.
9.) Adjournment: Motion by Hornblad second by Denor to adjourn at 10:32 a.m.
